New Yorkers rejoiced together by taking to the streets on Saturday (7/11/2020), to celebrate Donald Trump's defeat in the 2020 US presidential election (United States presidential election). People made fun of the son of the New York area with the words, " You are fired ". In Manhattan residents shout and applaud. Some raised flags and others sounded teapots from balconies. "I am glad Trump is out of our lives, hopefully forever," he told AFP.
